WATER ADVENTURES
Learn to Surf-Beginners
Come learn to surf at Playa Los Cerritos- the best beginner’s surfing beach on the Pacific Coast. Playa Los Cerritos offers consistent surf year round. Also, because of the sandy bottom with no rocks or sea urchins, Los Cerritos is very safe.
Intermediate/Advanced Surfers
Playa Los Cerritos is popular due to the consistency of this wave. Playa Los Cerritos has a fun right point reef break with some sand bottoms. It does get cold there during certain times of the year so be sure to bring a long spring suit 3/2 or a shorty.

Surf Fishing
There are no restrictions for beach fishing at any beaches.
Please respect the beaches and help protect the sea turtles - don't leave trash or drive on the dunes or beaches.
Panga Boat Trip
Experience an authentic Mexican-style Panga Fishing Trip.
A panga is a 22-24 ft. fishing boat with outboard engine -
the choice of local fishermen who live off of the sea.
Your guide knows the hotspots to fish for Marlin,
Dorado, Tuna, Yellowtail (beginning in July)
and Sierra, Mackerel, Sea bass and Red Snapper (in cooler months). Your knowledgeable captain will launch and return your Panga in the local fashion at Playa Punta Lobo. No boat ramp here! Just an unforgettable experience.
Fishing trips departing from Los Cerritos are available (depending on swell conditions). Sunscreen and a hat are important since these boats are open to the wind and the sea.

A great place for mountain bikes! There are trails near Todos Santos, to the coast, and in the foothills. Because of low traffic, even cruising through town can be fun!

Hiking
Playa Cerritos has a long stretch of beach that perfect for walking or running. Cerritos Beach offers multitude of hiking options. Be prepared with water, hat, sunscreen and enjoy the beautiful coastline. For the more ambitious, a hike from Todos Santos to the beach is a great adventure, yet not overly taxing for most. This hike takes about 2 hours round-trip For a real “trek,” the canyons that cross the mountains south and east of Todos Santos offer a very unique environment.
You can hike to the leeward side, and in winter it can actually snow in the upper elevations!

Sea Lion Rookeries
There are sea lion rookeries on area rocky outcroppings. Great to view, but please keep your distance from these animals. Turtle Release
Green Sea Turtles and Leatherback Turtles can be viewed on our beaches. They nest at ten day intervals, leaving six to seven nests per season. Every 2-3 years, they return to the beaches where they hatched to lay their eggs. October – April, is nesting time. Dec-June, hatchling are released. Whale Watching
Humpbacks and Gray Whales give birth every winter in the lagoons just north of Todos Santos. Mothers and calves can be seen feeding and frolicking close to shore. The Songs of these amazing Humpbacks can be heard as well. They may even surface to show off a new calf.

Check out La Poza beach. There is a great freshwater lagoon that is great for bird watching.
